Alligator gas is one of the largest freshwater fish that can be found in North America and they can measure up to 8-10 feet and weighs up to 91kg (200lb) at their maturity. The largest alligator gas that has been found till date is 279 lb or 127 kg and another even largest is 365 lb or 165 kg.The most interesting thing about this fish is its ability to survive outside the water for up to 2 hours above the surface.
